Unhappy

-Last year I bought a second hand 17" Entiva Monitor, made
in 1999. Early this year, progressive, I have lost the
green color from the screen.
-Now, it seems that I have to buy a new one, or, if I will
have any choice, I would try to repaire it, if possible.
-If you have any ideas, please help. Thank you.

If'n your lucky enough you should be able to get that repaired for around $70-$90. (unless its more then a simple component gone bad) Unless you do tv or monitor repair its not even worth your time to open it up. You might even want to look around at your 2nd hand stores, and computer shacks. You can get a used 17" for about $100 as it is.

Try replacing the cable that runs between the monitor and the computer. This is possible on some monitors where the cable is removable.
