Tracfone/verizon attachments being removed+fix?

Hello, When I send a text with a picture from my pc to a friends cell phone the text gets to them but it states attachment removed, this only happens when I send it to another TracFone all other cell from like tmoble work ok.
sending it in a compressed folder did not work either also it doses not work with @vzwpix.com. I use @vtext.com and the text gets thru but something is removing the picture. Anyone know what I might try? Thanks

Yes from a computer to a Tracfone. My TF is on the Verizon network.

Tracfone and Straighttalk limit what their phones can do. So they don't have all the same bells and whistles that other companies do. That's probably the issue here. If you were sending the file to that phone from another cell phone via sms messaging it would probably work.

The OP says that the picture won't send via text to a certain user.

My father has a Tracfone phone and I have it set up to not accept anything but basic text to keep the minutes used in check. His phone had a setting in it. I wanted to shut text completely off but they don't allow that. Probably because text is an easy way to use up pre-paid minutes.

Long time Tracfone user here. I routinely send texts with pictures and videos, no issues.
Yes, it goes SMS.

The original question isnt about a tracfone being able to send texts with attachments, it's about being able to receive them from a PC.

But can you send a picture with the text from your computer to a tracfone, the text seems to make it ok, but the picture gets removed???

Not sure why it isn't working for you. It just worked for me a little while ago.
What mail client are you using?

Tracfone is now owned by Verizon but can still use T-Mobile and AT&T networks.
Did you make sure the picture is no larger than 480 X 640 pixels. It won't go through if it is too big.
