Streaming Devices - Connect to LAN

I have 3 streaming devices and although they can all work on wifi,I'd rather have the reliability and signal strength of a hard wire connection. My question is, is it OK to plug all three devices into a network switch ?

If the streaming devices all have ethernet ports, they should work if you plug them into a networks switch. Of course, one of the cables going to the switch will have to be connected to your router.

Thanks................If I have 3 devices plugged into the switch ,if I have 2 or 3 running at the same time will the data transfer speed reduce ? or, is it suggested to run one at a time ?

The switch itself won't reduce the speed (assuming it's a gigabit switch). However, your ISP provides you with a specified maximum speed. For example, if your ISP's download speed is 300Mbps and you have 3 devices running simultaneously, each would have a maximum of 100Mbps (assuming they're all using the same amount of data). However, since you're talking about streaming devices, you don't really need very high speed for each device. It depends on the resolution, but a 1080P stream requires a speed of 10-25Mbps, while a 4K video stream requires around 50Mbps.
