How to change CMOS battery

Does anyone know the correct way to change a CMOS battery on a Lincs 17514 MB? The battery socket doesn't have a tab to pop it out. Rather than force it out, I was wondering if there is a secret method.

Thanks.

Usually there are little tabs you have to push back to release the battery. Is your battery soldered in place?

no tabs. that's why i posted this. not soldered.
The attached image shows a contact at the 9:00 position of the image but it is not a tab.

I'm pretty sure a small flat head screwdriver under the right side of that battery will lever it up past those 4 plastic tabs. It might help as you are twisting the screwdriver to use a finger to push back slightly on one of the right side plastic tabs to give it someplace to release. The battery might even slide a smidge to the left to again initiate it coming out past the tabs.

The picture is low resolution and doesn't show the battery holder well enough to help much. It looks like the style shown below. Use a small flat blade screwdriver like Tumble mentioned to pry back the contact/retainer tab.
