Re: Modems

Is there a way to set up a internal modem in win 3.11 wfw for surfing the net, and if there is, how do you go about it? This is just an experiment, that I am trying to do. I have a internal modem that is a Creative modem blaster 56k v.90. Do you need a driver for the modem, and if not, how do you set the modem up to get on the net? Thanks.

I think you need win3.1 for workgroups. If I remember correctly I was using 3.1 fwg when I discovered BBS' and trade wars. But it was many years ago, I may have still been using dos 6.0

hehe, I say many...1992 first laptop, 33Mhz, 4mg ram, 40Mb HD, 16 whopping colors, 1200 baud pocket modem. Good memories, but boy am I glad we are way beyond 33Mhz. heheh
