[SIZE=3]The inetwiz.exe is internet connection wizard and the isignup.exe is the internet signup wizard.

I run win xp and for those other odd exe's, don't find them no where on my xp system.

These two file are small combined about 40K, I can e-mail them to you if you like, save the trouble of restore.

Mikejmerritt, I was wondering that myself, if Plumber's way works I wont have too! But i would like to know how for future use. I never used that feature on my XP before, Can you send me info on How to go back and restore something? I was away for a week and when i came back. I should have run a update and scanned first, but i went into my email first and i guess i picked it up there, i dont know. Thanks Mike, Tom

Hey Tom, I don't have XP yet so can't advise on Goback but if I gather Bigmike does in that he says its awful. I was curious if XP had it as well as ME. On ME you run Goback and send the machine back in the past a few days or weeks as Scanreg Restore does in 98. Check it out, start it and see whats up, you can always back out but if needed later you'll be ready.....Mike

mikejmerritt, Thats right i can go back and restore (say anytime) as long as its a week( i think) before atleast. i just found out that this virus must have double my exe's on reboot, I ran 2 scans and it says i am clean but i cannot get rid of those exe's! It will only delete17 of them for some reason. someone mailed me the download for the two exe's and i am having trouble downloading them! Cannot figure out how to delete all of them? if worst comes to worst i will have to run system restore.

Hi Everyone: Thanks for all the input. I want to Thank Plumber2000 especially for working so hard with me on the side to straigten me out. Everything is ok now, what happened was the W32/cholera2 virus, destroyed my inetwiz.exe and the isignup.exe and All the other files were phony and generated by the original virus and intended to Re-Multiply every time i rebooted my pc! So i went OFFLINE and did a full scan, with the advice of Plumber2000! (took one hour) and it came up with 57 virus's (at that time) that it got rid of for me! If i were to reboot without the full scan then i would have gotten twice as many virus's and so on! Well, anyway i tried to replace the two original exe's and the xp (seemed like) it would not allow it and the reason was the xp must have restored them itself, because i suddenly had no problem with my signup wizard or internet explorer. Let this be a lesson to me, that after being away for a week, then the first thing i should have done (when getting on my pc) was to run a full scan (first) then go into my email! By the way My xp firewall was OFF when this happened and I dont know how that happened (maybe no virus if it were on?) So i put it back on and also got another firewall for extra protection. Plus a good Antivirus. Thanks to all very much, TOM
