Ram

I have drawn a mental blank! I prepare a lot of slide show and video presentations on my computer and need all of my RAM free. I typically do alt ctrl, delete and close out everything which is running except for Explorer. Isn't there a way I can code these programs running in the background to not even begin? It gets to be time consuming alt, ctr, and deleting. Thanks for all suggestions! dave drew

go to start, run. enter msconfig. select the startup tab and uncheck all that you do not want loaded at start up.
