Wanted: Used Laptop
Not looking for something special.
Budget $400
PentiumII 200 - 400mHz, 64mBRAM, 4-8Gig HD, 98 or 95. (I can add more RAM myself), CD-ROM.
I just need it to surf and printout the internet, and MS Office 97. No heavy gaming - just MS Arcade.
Any suggestions on where to look? The local papers have nothing in the classifieds.

My usual favorites for bargins are
www.tigerdirect.com they have lots of closeouts
and
www.processor.com they have lots of listings for vendors that sell all kinds of stuff including refurbed laptops.

Check to see it there are computer shows in your area. There was a show in Nashville this weekend with many used laptops in the range that you are looking for. At a show, you can check the computer, something you can't do thru mail order. Check this link for computer shows in your area.
