ok when i ran my system file checker it showed i had 4 files missing. they were: mfc30.dll mfcvia32.dll mfcans32.dll and last but not least mfc030.dll now when it found them and asked me where to restore them,i didn't know where to restore them at? anyone help me with this? ok part 2. when i go to start, find folders i can type in the names of the missing files and i can right click on it,it'll then ask me (open with)?? well i still don't know what to open it with.any help would be highly appreciated. i have windows 98 and my c.d.rom now won't work so i'm sure one of these files is it and i really need to use it badly.any help would be appreciated guys.thanks.

Cool .dll's

Go to this URL http://dll.yaroslavl.ru/ this is DLL world and will have the latest .dll available. You want to drop them into the Windows System folder in Windows Explorer. Get these back in and go from here. You will not have anything to "open" a .dll. Just restore them to system or get new ones and drop them in system. We'll go from here.
