Video Card

I've got a 486DX2-66 that Needs a monitor. Is the video card compatible with all monitors. I can get a used ADC 15" monitor at a reasonable price but I did'nt want to purchase it unless it would work. The video card in the computer is a Cirrus Logic made in 1994. My E-mail is [email protected]. I appreciate your help in this matter.

I'll stick my two cents in.

If the monitor has DB-15 plug, it should work (check the video card for blue 'D' shaped connector with 15 holes in it, the monitor plug should have matching male).

The video card is most likely only going to support 256 colors, so be mindful to keep video settings at VGA resolutions (800 X 640 X 256).

Hope this helps.
