HP laserjet 4L shuts down
#1
I have an older 4L that sometimes shuts down when I try and print more than one page. But shutting down I mean the first page comes out, but then all four lights on the panel light up and nothing else happens. If you turn off the power to the printer, then it clears , but never prints the remaining pages. It does not happen all the time. We leave the printer in the "on" position all the time and this seems to solve the problem, at least for a while. Any Suggestions? Thanks.

One thing you can try is to find out if you have the proper driver installed. You can update your printer driver for free by going to the HP website. It wouldn't hurt to reinstall it anyway! Looking at it more simple - make sure you printer settings match your page settings and check your spooling settings in the help menu.
