Got a bunch of Digital Equipment Corp. LA75 Companion Printers (9). Would like to use a couple for a data logging application.

They didn't come with any cords. Looked on Web for info on this printer. Only found a source for spare ribbon.

Found similiar models which were serial inputs. Wondering if these are serial or parallel.

Data connection appears to be a strange looking RJ (maybe RJ45 with a little notch at the bottom, not familiar with this connector). It is 6 wire.

Looking for info, source for info.

Source for data cables. Software Drivers.

Anybody using this model printer? Or know anything at all about it or know a web site for it. Search turns up nothing of value.

Anybody interested in the ones, I don't use?

DEC has been in and out of business a couple of times since those printers were made. If you need parts for them, the one that comes to mind is Boston Technology. They bought up a bunch of parts from DEC and market them (with others). You can check their website at http://www.bostechnology.com/

Good luck.
