I sure, search bar is not the correct name but I don't know what else to call it. When I connected to the internet, up until now, a bar appearead at the bottom of my screen that show when the file was downloading and when it was done downloading. It is no longer there. Can anyone tell me how I can get it back?

Depending on your browser, if it's Internet Explorer or Netscape, click on VIEW then make sure that STATUS BAR is checked. It happens to me all the time.
