It could be that the dog has been abused...Try talking sweet ( as in baby voice ) and perhaps coax her into letting you pet her by giving treats...you usually can't go wrong with treats!
And most importantly...have a lot of patience!
Here's one I need ideas on: While running the LiveUpdate function of Norton AV2000 a couple of days ago, a window popped up saying my disk was full, delete some files, etc, etc. The stumper is that there is NO WAY I have that much on the drive. I upgraded from a 2.5 gb drive (partitioned 2.0/.5) about 6 monthes ago to a 13.0 gb (partitioned roughly 7.0/6.0). Since then I've maybe installed 1 gb of new stuff. Well, the C: side of the partition (about 7.0 gb capacity) says 415 mb free! Whoa, I have 6 1/2 gb of files in there? No way! Have tried defragging, scanning for errors/viruses, diagnostics and nothing indicates why what should be maybe 3gb of files (estimated; haven't manually gone through directories adding up used space) seems to be taking up about double that space on the drive!!! Unfortunately I can't say if the problem has been there since installing the hard drive or if it's something new (going from 2.5 gb to 13.0 gb hadn't really paid attention to the free space because should have been tons - only noticed the glitch or whatever when the low drive space warning came up). ScanDisk says there's about 6.8 gb in about 30,000 user files. Here's the system info:
AMD K6-2/500 on ALI motherboard (supports large drives and setup is correct)
Windows 98 second edition
WD 13.0 gb ultra ata66 hardrive
