how do i edit the MBR ?

Long story short.. I tried dual booting win98/linux, both on seperate partitions and got a normal mssg box upon startup asking which OS to boot to. Then had a real messy uninstall/unpartition of linux. After that the puter would try to boot to the (now non-exhistant) linux partition and would boot me to some wierd linux command line from which i couldnt do anything. My question: how do i edit the MBR master boot record to boot to windows98 now ?
