Red face

Right. I'm walking Microsuck Windoze 98SE. I have two PCs connected via NetGear EN108tn Ethernet Hub which in turn is connected to a Cisco DSL modem thru the uplink port. Both machines use 3COM NICs. One is ISA, the other PCI/USB. The ISA PC is now lost, that is, it can't be seen thru Network Neighborhood, either from itself or the PCI/USB PC. The PCI/USB PC can be seen thru NetNeigh by both machines. I downloaded the latest drivers I could find from 3COM (3C509 ISA NIC). The ISA PC disappeared before this which is why I loaded the new drivers. Suggestions?

Talking

Well, I stumbled across the solution to my problem. It seems the when I downloaded one of the IE 5 security patches (there are so many I've lost track of which I have and don't have) the Sharing selector got turned off. My one PC wasn't configured to share anything. One click and it's back on line.
