wont recognize my video card at times
Hello, I have a G3 ti200 video card. sometimes when i boot up my computer, it doesnt recognize my card and it runs off my built-in graphics on my MB ( which is horrible.)
My system consists of the following:
- 1.4 t-bird
- 256 megs of ram
- MB is an msi K7T 266, i think

did you disable the onboard video card in bois? hmmm... I doubt that it is useing that onboard video card unless you have a monitor with 2 inputs and both cards connected. More then likely the video drivers are not completly loading at startup. I would go to nvidia get the destroyer and new drivers, then completly remove the vid drivers, and install the new ones.
Besure you have the onboard video disabled, if its not what may be happening (big maybe) the OS is not sure which card to support and loads the generic (very bad display) drivers since you probably dont have the drivers for onboard video installed. Generic display drivers are applied to both video cards and you get bad graphics. To verify this before doing the above go to adapter properties and see what drivers are installed for the card.
