WinNT 4.0 hardware

I set up some workstations with a mouse and there is no need for a mouse in the final location for these computers. On boot up I get a error because the mouse isn't found. How do I remove the mouse from the software so this error can go away?

Remove the mouse under device manager.

Do you get a Windows or BIOS error? If it's the latter you'll need to change the BIOS setting also, so a mouse is not checked for at bootup.

Got it....I didn't see anywhere to disable or remove the device. It just allowed stopping and starting until I went into the next screen under Hardware profiles where the disable button was...
Thanks
