Why does ilt print from test page and
notepad, but does not print from anywhere else?

Windoze 95 or 98? What drivers did you use? On your computer go to <Start> <Settings> <Printers> and see if the printer is there and set as default. Check into it's properties to make sure it isn't turned off somehow or in some type of test mode. If you just let Windoze find the printer it may not have installed everything the printer wants. Go to http://www.windrivers.com/ and get the drivers through here. What this site actually is going to do is send you to the maufacturer's home driver page. Install the latest drivers you can get for this printer. 9 times out of ten printer problems are from corrupt or insufficient drivers.
