Question Cedar Deck Cleaning Question

We have a 2 yr old cedar deck to which each year I have treated with Cabot Clear Solution. I must say I am a little disappointed since it is now peeling in some areas and I can see the grey underneath. I guess this can be attributed to the harsh winter. Anyway, can I pressure wash a cedar deck, and if so, do i need to scrub it down as well? What is the best do clean a deck or scrub if necessary?

Thanks-Matt

Behr deck cleaner and brightner does a good job of cleaning decks. I put it into a garden type sprayer and spray in on and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before scrubbing it down with my deck brush. You can then pressure wash if needed. I believe the main ingredient is OXALIC ACID.

I have 2 cedar decks and I've used it on both with great results. I used the product as I described then pressure washed and the deck looked like the day I put it in (6yrs ago).

Here's the url to the product, it's available at Home Depot.
