Question type of wood for fence

I planning on having a 6ft wood fence installed and I am trying to find out what wood would be the best choice. We are debating cypress and pressure treated. I live in Florida where it's always wet, so durability is key. If anyone can help me make my decision between the two wood types, it would be great. Thanks

Cool

I have cypress siding and trim and pressure-treated decks in NC.
The carpenter bees don't do p-t, but they will do cypress and the wood peckers love the bees.
I've never had a real bad problem with either one (birds or bees) with the cypress, but never with the p-t and most brand-name p-t wood has a 50-year warranty now. Cypress doesn't.
I'd go with p-t.
Good Luck!

Florida. -- I suppose redwood or cedar are out of the question for you.

Listen to Old Guy.

Or, another option would be VINYL! (Guaranteed the birds and the bees will leave it alone!!)
