Patio Swing - Crib
Do you know the steps I would follow to convert/construct a baby crib into a patio swing?
Thank you,

Wait a minute -- I thought you were working on the train track thing!! (LOL!!)
Ok, this is doable too. Remove the side panel that slides up and down. Now you have the bottom and the fixed side which will serve as the back for the swing. You'll probably have to reinforce the bottom. (Even my little keyster weighs more than a baby!!) Now add pads. Now attach the chains, but attach them to the bottom, not to the top of the end rails.
If this is under a covered patio, you can attach the other end of the chains to a framing member of the cover.
If this is an open patio, or if your cover won't support the load, you'll have to design a stand to support the swing.
