joining patio roof to existing roofs
I am adding a screen eclosure to my deck with a roof ,and the excisting roof has 2 different slopes because of an addition, the existing roofs slope 90 degrees from each other and I am wondering how to build the patio roof to both of these excisting roofs. If any one could help I would appreciate it.

Handydan,
Welcome to DoItYourself.com and the Deck forum.
'Roof attachment' is usually what presents the biggest problems when covering a deck or patio, especially when 2 or more roofs are involved.
What are you going to build this cover with? Do you have enough height to run the cover under the overhangs and attach to the walls? If you cut the overhangs back, can you get enough height to attach to the walls? Another option might be to put a ledger on each roof and attach the new cover to those. Or you might be able to make it freestanding, and just let the cover run above the existing roofs.
What will your local bldg. dept. allow or not allow you to do?
