Drilling through Aluminum Siding
I am installing two outdoor speakers today for my patio. It stands just outside my family room which has real wood paneling. The Outside of the house is Aluminum siding. My question is can I simply drill a small hole straight through to the other side for teh speaker wire and then fill with caulk?

You can, but beware. Aluminum siding contracts and expands like most other products which can lead to problems down the road. Make sure the hole isn't too tight and you might want to wrap some electrical tape about the wire where it goes through the siding. When the siding moves from heat and cold it will rub and can slowly take the insulation off the wires. I have delt with this a few times with my phone lines.
