decisions, decisions

I am going to build a patio about 12' by 25'. I want to either pour a slab (with very litlle or no help) and put pavers on top, or build a perimeter concrete barrier, backfill with sand and use a pavestone type product. If I build a perimeter concrete barrier, and use a pavestone, how would I finish off the area over the perimeter? Cement the pavestone to the concrete on its face? Any ideas out there? I am obviously going for zero maintenance.

Here is some information on mortarless paving or dry laid brick for patios. It might give you some ideas.
