Complications for building a deck out of square?

Hi,
I have a 100 year old French garden, concrete walks and borders, NOTHING is true parallel or square. Its also on a slope down and left. I want a deck butting the current tiny veranda that will fit the garden walk borders...there is an open plot but not square. I plan on building everything to measure over a string frame. I know how to use a false square to establish correct cutting angles and also understand the complications on the deck planking. Are there other concerns when building a deck with no square angles or parallel sides, in other words a trapazoid?

thanks,
Mark

I'd say that since you recognized that things were not square before you started and understand that many of your cuts will not be 90 degrees, you are smart enough to make it work out perfectly.
