Wooden porch over a cement slab?
So, the side porch (covered) of our new house has a cement base. But it is wearing away from wear-and-tear on its edges. How could I use the same cement slab base and build a wooden floor (t&g) on it? And how should I treat that wood - if I should use wood at all?

Is the porch enclosed? I know you said it was covered, but enclosed is the key. In order to incorporate a wooden floor, you would have to deal with the weather, and that is why I ask.
