cleaning unsealed pavers

Good Day,

What can I use to remove frog feces stains on my deck/patio?

At night they seem to take over my patio resulting in brown stains that bleach nor pressure cleaning can remove.

These frogs are so large you can put a saddle on them.

thx,ellen

If washing with waterhose does not remove stains, then pressure washing may. These are organic stains, so you can also wet the pavers, apply enzyme digester clean and allow it time to soak into pavers. Repeat applications may be necessary to keep pavers wet with enzyme cleaner and to give enzymes time to digest stains and then rinse with hose or pressure wash. Once pavers are clean of stains, keep sealed with penetrating masonry sealer per manufacturer's instructions.

A preventive measure is to keep outdoor lights off and curtains/draperies closed. Light attracts bugs and frogs feed on bugs. Also do a monthly perimeter residual insecticide treatment on foundation and surrounding area to deter insects and their predators.
