Recommend Wood Type for Porch

I'm rebuilding a 6x12 front porch with railing. This structure needs to be painted immediately after building phase as the house is going up for sale.
Because of the immediate painting needs, I won't be able to build out of Pressure Treated wood-- no time for curing. Kiln dried Doug Fir seems to be my alternative. But, I can't find 4x4 lumber for my railing posts in Doug Fir. Is it made these days and do I have to special order it?

Any other ideas?

Some places sell dried PT lumber - expect to pay extra

If you must use wet PT, look for the driest/lightest 4x4s you can find and use a latex primer instead of oil. Not ideal but it should do ok.
