Should I caulk flashing / stucco gap.

Good day from rainy Vancouver.

I've just finished attaching ledger board to house rim after removing stucco. Everything is (I believe) successfully flashed.

I'm left with a 1/4" gap between the stucco cut and the flashing. It begs to be sealed, but I'm not sure if there's a reason to let the stucco "breathe" at this location.

Thanks for any input.

Welcome to the forums! Not if it breathes water. You may want to post a pix or two so we can see what you see. http://forum.doityourself.com/electr...your-post.html

Here's the picture

The gap is about 1/4", and this area will be covered with a 5/4" x 6" decking.
Maybe I should silicone the gap between stucco and deck board??
