Best method in attaching deck boards?
I will be soon putting in a deck. Please advise me in using either of the following methods to attach the deck boards:
1. Kreig deck jig system
2. EB-TY
3. Using a bracket below the board
4. The standard by putting screws directly into the top of board.
I would like to hide the screws by using one of the first three. However if they are inferior to just screwing form the top then maybe I would use the fourth mentod.
Please advise if anyone has had any good or bad experiences or knowledge of using the first three methods.
Thanks

There are many alternatives to direct fastening the deck boards. All are, IMO, a PITA to use. You can get an invisible fastener deck, as long as you have the time to do it. It will take two or two and 1/2 times the labor to use the invisible fastener systems as opposed to direct fasteners. You didn't say what type boards you were using....pt 5/4 or some other product like Trex. Different fasteners for different products.
