Smile remove sealer from redwood deck

Mistakenly, I applied "superdecks composite sealer" to a redwood deck. I should have used an oil sealer. I am trying to remove composite sealer. I tried "Super Decks remover" but it turned the redwood black. Also tried "Super Decks Granular cleaner" which you use with scrub brush.
I have done this 4 times and there is still 50% of composite sealer left on the deck. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums!

I believe I'd have just let it wear/weather off and then redone it with the correct sealer. Since cleaners aren't removing it, you'll either need to use a chemical stripper of sand it off.

Sounds like a lot of work, I'd leave it and just use the other product next time
