Patio Post Spacing
I am attempting to build a covered patio. My question is, if I use 4x6 post for the corners and 2 4x6 posts in the middle at 11' apart, would that be suffice for a patio 33' long?

Welcome to the forums! What are you using as framing for the cover? 2x4, 2x6, etc. The spacing may not be too great for the proper wood size. Otherwise I would space them at 8' intervals.

Thanks for the reply. I will be using 2x6 for the patio cover @ 16" apart. The support beams attached to the house and edge of patio will also be 2x6's. I can't remember where I found that i could use a max of 12' between post using 4x6. Would that be correct?

Investigate this: Maximum Span Calculator for Joists & Rafters
It will help in your span calculations. 2x6 won't span 12'.

Might want to check with the AHJ first (building department people). They have to give their blessings to whatever you build. FWIW, you should consider using all 6 x 6 posts, in compliance with the IRC. The Code also has beam and joist span criteria for decks that are worth noting.
