pergola lumber sizes

I'm wanting to build a pergola 15'x13'. The 13' foot will be attached to my house. I figure my 3 outside posts will be 6x6s across the front. What I'm wondering is what size beams and rafters I should use to span the 15' from my house to the front of the pergola? Putting another row of posts through the middle would cut the space down too much. Any advice would be appreciated. Also I'm building it out of pressure treated lumber. Thanks

You really should have someone with a technical background design the thing for you. Preferably a licensed engineer, who will used the parameters (snow load, roof loads, wind load and frost depth) for the site to come up with proper member sizes and construction details for your location. If you don't want to pay for an engineer, then at least get a few experienced contractors out to look at what you've got and give you quotes for what they think would work best. You might even wind up using one of them to build it for you.
