Cleaing misting nozzles?

I put up a brand-new misting system for the patio using half inch PVC in orbit misting nozzles.
These nozzles get dirty pretty quick and the misting action really suffers. I tried cleaning them in some white vinegar and for most that seem to help. There were 3 stubborn nozzles out of 20 that still seem to insist on not misting and sprain a straight stream of water instead.

Just curious if you have a misting system how do you clean your nozzles?

What are the nozzles made out of? CLR would be a first choice or for a stronger mix...a product called Metal Prep available in the paint dept of big box stores or actual paint stores.

Metal Prep is phosphoric acid and will destroy some materials. It will eat right through a aluminum foil roasting pan and the same with cast zinc type metals. Use a plastic or glass container for any acid.

Fun little experiment, take a newer penny, use a fine file to take the copper off the edge then drop it in metal prep.

Can't say about the brass for certain...but won't hurt the SS over just a few minutes. CLR should be fine with it, cheaper as well.
