I recently purchased a new home. The deck looked fine, but when summer came everyone was getting splinters in there feet.Is there anyway to fix this without replacing the deck?

Wink

Three things come to mind that will prevent people from getting splinters in their feet.

1. Keep people off of the deck.

2. Require folks to wear shoes while on the deck.

3. Pressure wash the deck, and after it dries, seal it with a GOOD (spelled $20 to $25/gal.) sealer.

Any of the 3 ways will work.
