Washers behind ledger to make it flush?

I'm putting up a new deck and a portion of the deck runs attached behind my garage which is resting on a concrete slab. when I look at the location of my ledger - which runs under the garage door - it would rest partially on the garage wall (about 2") and the rest against the slab. the issue is that the wall is has about a 1/4" overhang past the slab so it would cause the ledger to angle out if I secured it.

Is it okay to add a couple of galvanized washers (1/4" worth) to the concrete anchors behind the ledger to make everything flush?

Going to have to post some pictures on that one.
No clue how a ledger can run under a garage door.

Heh, me either. But yes, adding the washers as shims should be fine.

You can use up to 1/2" of washers and meet code minimum, Table 5; http://www.awc.org/Publications/DCA/DCA6/DCA6-09.pdf

Non-corrosive, page 5.

garage door...

Sorry, I meant the door at the back of the garage. Not the actual 'garage door'

That would be a hell of a deck...
