Problems driving Cortex screws into Trex Transcend

Slick system but I'm stripping lots of screw heads or they're not countersinking enough to install the color matched plug. I've tried pre-drilling, tried everything the website says so it seems that the weak link is my impact driver (Rigid 18V). Will a better driver or another type of tool make this job go easier?

I have a rigid 18 volt. It will break bits like crazy and break the screw heads off. I have found some expensive bits that will do It but my Little Hitachi 12 Li-ion drives 3 inch screws with no problem.

I just used the bit provided in my old 3/8 Black & Decker Pro electric and drove 6 boxes without a problem. If you are using an impact, that could be the problem.

I've never had a #2 square drive bit that comes with the Cortex screw system to break the screw heads. I use a Makita 18v impact, and they work flawlessly. Too light a pressure on the screw will cause cam out, but that's a rarity with square drives. But, then again, you don't have one of my helpers who can cam out a T25 torx head.....unbelievable.
