Stairs -- is the joist and beam support enough?

I am building 5 foot wide stairs for my deck. There are two runs, 3 risers, 23 inch total rise.

The stairs will be built parallel to the concrete, inset into the deck at a 45 degree angle. The paint in the dirt marks the edge of the stairs.

The only support will be the rim joist attached to the joists. Yes, I still have to trim the beams and joists back to the edge of the future rim joist (paint line).

Is this enough support for the rim joist and support for the stair stringers? Do I need to add another pier block and post / beam?

Thanks for your advice.

If there are 3 steps the 3rd one will be onto the deck surface. So your stair jack will only be 2 stairs and from the looks of it, it will rest against the rim joist. Usually you want to either anchor the bottom of the stair jack or notch it out over a cleat.

Thanks for the reply. The stringer will be anchored at the bottom to the concrete. I'm wondering if the rim joist will provide enough support because the joists it's attached to are at a 45 degree angle, meaning there's fewer of them.
