Pool shed on deck

Hello folks, long time lurker first time poster......

I would like to submit plans this spring to extend my current deck and add a shed/cabana on top. These plans are no where close to finished but I would like to get some feedback. The new proposed deck will be 16'x14' off the existing 16'x32' deck. The old deck sits ~3' to 4' above the soil, as will the new.

I'm mainly looking if the design is doable, I did not add in all the tie points yet just in case I need to go back to the drawing board but they will be usual Simpson strong ties.

I scanned my current drawings but could not attach the file here because of the size: (2.4MB)

Going out on a limb, here, but it should be doable. You are missing too many critical details for beneficial observations to be made. If you get a hold of a DCA 6, digesting all of the meat in it should keep you on the straight and narrow.

Here's a link to the DCA 2013, which is a good document covering all the aspects of deck building. http://www.awc.org/Publications/DCA/DCA6/DCA6-09.pdf
