Patio Electric Heater
Hello everyone,
I am about to start a backyard project and as a part of it I'll get 10x12 patio. I am considering to install this heater (Amazon.com - Tungsten Smart-Heat 3000 Watt Electric Outdoor Heater - Bromic BH0420003 - Space Heaters). Has anyone used it before? I would like to hear if you have other suggestions as well.
Thanks,

Is this an open patio? No walls or windows?
If so I'd get one of the stand alone propane or natural gas tower type infrared heaters.
You'll need an upgraded supply circuit for the electric heater. I'm not positive but at least 30 amps if its 120VAC, and 15 if it's 240VAC. Might even be 40A and 20A...I'm not sure of the actual rules.

Yes, it is an open patio and you're right, standing propane heater would be the cheapest and easiest. However, I like the idea of wall mount one mostly because I think it is tidier.
3000W version that I put the link for is 230V and 12.5A. If I decide to go for a 4000W version, it is 16.6A.

They look nice, they work great and out in California with the high electric rates, it will be expensive to run.
