J Bolt Anchor System

I have a question about the positioning of the J bolts for anchoring in-ground basketball hoops. It says in the instructions that the bolts must face the back of the bolt to the right, basically they are like arrows pointing at the back of each other. By mistake I have them facing outside/away from each other. Why is it supposed to be positioned the way it is in the instruction? What are the consequences for my mistake? And can I leave it like that or do I have to redo it?

Welcome to the forums! Little unclear. Maybe a link to the instructions would help us as well.

Sorry about that. It should've looked like this

But instead they each face outwards something like this

Thank you in advance

You can probably leave it the way it is unless you do a lot of slam dunks like I do.

Curious as to why the pole wasn't embedded in concrete to begin with, since it appears to be a new pour?

Thanks, I'm not much of a jumper so hopefully it'll last a while. I'll save up some money to fix it though. And the hoop was just bought, so assembly was necessary; anchor, base, and all.
