Looking for Electrical heater advice for patio
I want to install an electrical heater in my patio. The patio is open, except the ceiling. I want to install the heater on the wall, near the ceiling.
I learned that much that there are electrical IR heater that emit an orange light, some less. I prefer no or limited orange light.
Can anyone suggest a model or brand?

Have you actually seen a heater of this type in operation ?
Most, if not all, infrared heaters glow orange. The brighter the glow...... the more heat output.

Yes, many heaters have the strong orange light.
However, I have seen some that have none. One model I saw in a restaurant was a black bar with not light. Couldn't figure out who makes it.
Here is a link from down under that talks about low glow models:
Electric Outdoor Patio Heaters in Melbourne | Heatstrip
I fund this Burda that states "low glare light"

I've only installed a couple of the outdoor heatstrips and they've always been the darker ones. The picture below illustrates the two types but I don't recall ever seeing strips as bright as that bright one is.

I recently installed a set of these: Premium Residential and Commercial Outdoor Infrared Electric Heaters – Infratech and they didn't seam to have much glow as others I have seen. It was daytime so that may have something to do with it.
The ones you saw may have not been running at full power which is why they didn't glow orange. There are variable controls available for these heaters.
