Black spots on deck

I need some help identifying what's gone on here. I found a pattern of black spots on my deck that I just finished putting new boards on. I actually had left a 2x4 on the deck in that area, and the 2x4 has the spots as well. Both the 2x4 and decking are PT from a big box store.

A Google search makes me think it's "artillery fungus." However, they are not raised. I can scrape at them and nothing comes up or goes away. Suppose I could sand the area, but want to make sure that it's not a sign of a bigger issue. Thoughts?

I'd wash it with a bleach/water solution [50/50] scrub if needed and rinse well. Hopefully that will take care of it.

Sanding will just grind in the spores.
I just built a Pergola for a customer and had the same issue, I've built dozens of decks, and tons of things with pressure treated lumber and never had this issue before except where there was bolts cut off.
I hit it with bleach and water 50 % and they went away.
