Ground level deck
Trying to build a deck so there is only one step down to ground level. Looking for ideas besides your typical beam, joist, deck board structure that won't take up so much height. Thanks

Welcome to the forums!
It's not a great idea to build a wooden deck that close to the ground. The restricts air movement under the deck making it harder for it to dry out when it gets wet ..... which often results in a short life for the deck.

What dimensions will the deck be? It will make a difference as to what size lumber will be required. Your frost line is also quite deep, so your footings may need to be as deep or deeper than the water line shut off at the street, which is probably 3' or so. Your electrical service is most likely underground as well as any gas you have, so be sure to call 811 for a locator service (free) just to make sure you steer clear of them when digging.
