What to do with a weathered cedar deck

We are putting our house on the market soon. I have already cleaned our cedar deck, so that nice soft gray color is gone. I have a gallon of Thompson's Water Seal that we won't be taking with us, so I thought about putting in on the deck. Can anyone tell me what that will do to the color? Will it be the same color as it is after a rain? Perhaps a picture would help as well - I can't find images online. Thanks in advance.

TWS should deepen the colors in the wood, similar to how it looks when wet. The main drawback for using TWS is it's short life as it doesn't hold up against the UV rays and weather very well. How small is the deck? a gallon won't go very far.

Seeing they are selling, would that Flood stuff that turns it kind of gold work on cedar?

Can't remember the name and have never had anything cedar.

I think you are referring to Flood's CWF. It works on cedar. While I've not done many cedar decks with I've put it on miles of cedar siding. I like the look
