Retaining wall and pool

Hello all

My backyard is on 2 levels with a terraced retaining wall made of 6x6 pt stacked with timberlock screws. Each terrace is about 4 1/2 feet tall for a total height of about 9 feet between the top and bottom levels of my yard. On the top level of the yard is a patio. I would like to set up an intex pool on top of that patio. The pool will add about 25,000-30,000 pounds of weight onto the top level. The retaining wall was already there when I bought the house so I don't know the exact composition of materials in the ground, but I dug out a bit to put in the patio and it seems like just standard fill of mixed rocks and dirt.

My question for the group is: Is this a dangerous amount of weight to add to the top level of the yard on top of this type of retaining wall or will the wall handle this just fine?

Thank you very much in advance for your advice.

Personally I cant imagine that anybody will be able to give you an answer based on a vague description of a wall that we have no idea what it's made of or even what it looks like.

Sounds like an engineering question to me!

At the very least we'd need to see a few pictures of the area in question.
