Sealing cedar deck HELP
my hubby is just replaced the top boards of our deck with cedar, but it took him a few weeks. so some of the boards looks a little different from the sun. Should I wait for the sun to get to the other boards he put down before I clear seal. Or after I seal will the sun will make them look the same as the ones that have been on the deck for a few weeks?

I agree! TWS does do a good job of protecting the wood from water BUT it has a short life, 6-12 months and does little to prevent the wood from greying. Any leftover TWS can prevent any other stain from adhering as well as it could.
I'd suggest using a toner or translucent stain, they generally hold up better than any clear deck sealers.
