Need some suggestions on replacing patio roof.
So the previous owner of our house did a remarkably bad job of installing the roof over the patio which has resulted in the area by the gutters to start to rot out. I've been meaning to deal with this for a while, but after looking at the plywood support I don't think it will make it through the winter.
Anyway I am planning onreplacing the plywood, shingles, and gutter. Dimensions are approximately 240 inches long and 108 inches deep.
Here's some pictures:
Are there any recommendations on the type of plywood I should get? Should 1/2 inch pressure treated be sufficient? Also any recommendations on shingles or should pretty much anything from Home Depot suffice?
Thanks for any recommendations!!

Any type of plywood should work unless you are concerned about the appearance from underneath. It doesnt have to be treated unless you are in a very wet humid area and you are worried about mildew underneath. Your roof is currently osb, not plywood. You are also going to see nails sticking through... not sure why you don't see any now, unless they used 3/4" osb originally and nails that were too short... Nails are always supposed to penetrate through the roof sheathing by at least 1/4".
Then finally you need to determine the pitch of that roof. (If you hold a 4 ft level under the side fascia a 3:12 roof would mean the roof drops 1 ft in 4 feet. So hold the level LEVEL and measure the distance the roof changes vertically in 4 feet) Shingles should not be used on anything that is less than 2:12. And less than 4:12 you need to follow the shingle mfg's instructions for low pitch roofs which usually just means you lap the felt paper 19" for double coverage.
Yes, any shingles should work. Be sure you use gutter apron flashing in front and d style drip edge on the sides. Can't say I've ever seen a gutter quite like that one.

Ok so the pitch is 2.6 which sounds like I can still do shingles if I want, though I am taking a hard look at the polycarbonate roofing panels as that would be a lot cheaper.
As for the gutter, this is just one of insanely bad remodeling jobs the previous owner did with the house that keeps on costing us money.

2.6:12?
Maybe the movie Money Pit was based on your place? If so, you might be able to sue for royalties and recoup some of your expenses. LOL

Yeah 2.6:12.
Let's just say a lot of work was done that looked nice was ended up being mess once we looked closer. Let me tell you about the story about a drop in kitchen sink that was tiled over........

So after talking with the wife, she would rather have a pergola style roof instead of what we have right now.
Would the best option probably be a poly-carbonate panel in a 12ft length and then just cut down to what we need? Also, will I need to install cross boards for support or will me existing frame be sufficient?
Here's one that I was looking at:

UPDATE - So after looking at some installation instructions on YouTube I will definitely have to install purlins to put the mounting strips on.
