Question on my deck plan

Planning on building a 12'x 24' deck, 6 ft above ground attached to a ledger on the house.

Is it ok to only have one beam at 10' (6' post spacing, deck with 2' overhang)?

Using a beam table I found, I would need a beam made up of 3 2x12. I guess I could use 4x6 or 6x6 posts to support the beam.

Joists will be 2x8 every 16 inches.

If one beam is not recommended, then what would work?

Also what should the ledger size be, 2x8?

Check with your local inspection office, but my local codes call for 2x8 for spans up to 12', and a max of 2' overhang, so your joists and ledger can be 2x8. For your beam, a doubled 2x10 would be plenty (spans up to 10.5 ft) and a doubled 2x8 would meet code requirements (under 8' span).
